Heaven

Beginning of Everything is based on Karolina’s interpretation of self-imposed denial and despair. The subject is caught with her head flung back in agony, and clay is draped over her eyes and mouth like blinds: she has inflicted silence and blindness upon herself.

The artist also treats this work as a tribute to life; the creation of this sculpture healed and propelled her towards a new beginning.
